Ready? Think.. Design.. Conceptualize!
In Stage 1, the Course-Based (Col)Lab-R-tory Modules below offer scholars &/or teams (groups) an opportunity to engage with Real World Practitioners, Innovators & Innovation/Practice-Faculty in Experiential CISLEARNing (blended or online hands-on/learning-by-doing immersion) focusing on DTI Design Thinking/Conceptualization of cutting-edge solutions to Real World Grand Challenges. Scholars & participants’ culminating milestones include: a) peer-review of topic descriptions for identified Real World Grand Challenge & Design/Conceptual Abstracts on DTIs through preceptored/guided presentation in online seminars, virtual conferences and e-journal publications; and b) recognition awards for points earned on participants’ leaderboard for successful program/stage completion including selection for advancement to the next level (Col)Lab-R-tory/Stage.
Problem Statement Module
Participants in this module identify real world Grand Challenges requiring solutions using DTIs in the HIVE’s portfolio along with complementary expertise. Grand Challenges identified are framed as brief problem statements (topic descriptions) for the Conceptual Abstract Module.
Conceptual Abstract Module
Participants in this module design/conceptualize DTIs to be framed as brief conceptual abstracts which address identified topics of real world Grand Challenges faced by community, institutional & industry partners.
